ENPROTECH is a young company with sound investors.

We are an engineering company with the aim to bring the Gbps society through solutions faster to deploy than any other option and at lower cost. This way, any Service Provider, including those with limited investment capabilities, can offer this kind of connectivity effectively.

Enprotech develops both hardware and software solutions and jointly with partners is able to provide a turn-key solution to any Service Provider, from installation and maintenance, provisioning, operation to financial support for deployments.

Enprotech provides AllRoadBand™

An innovative solution to deploy Gbps broadband services faster and at lower cost than Fiber To The Home by reusing existing phonelines and coaxial lines.

Very High Speed Inexpensively

We offer Service Providers the possibility to enable their customer base with very high speed connectivity fast and inexpensively. In very short time, a single play provider can build a platform to offer a wide range of services running on a Gbps capable solution.

G.hn: One Standard, Multiple Physical Media

Our solutions are based on ITU-T Standard G.hn. This standard was developed to support high speed connectivity over existing wires. Those include Powerline, Phoneline and Coaxial cables. G.hn standard maximizes the performance setting the most optimum modulation parameters depending on the wire, making the most of each.

Enprotech adopts additional techniques to handle crosstalk in phoneline access environments and multipoint architecture in coaxial networks completes the solution to provide Gbps services over existing wires.

FTTH

Deploying Fiber to the Home (FTTH) involves a significant amount of investment as well as a lengthy process in order to enable broadband subscribers.

Both variables are very important in order to define the return when using FTTH approach:

  • Overall financial investment
  • Time to deploy

Enprotech solution

Since reusing existing infrastructure, turns FTTH approach into Fiber to the Building (FTTB) or to the Curve (FTTC) complemented by AllRoadBandTM .

This way:

  • Investment related to reaching end customer homes is dramatically reduced. This can represent more than 50% of the overall FTTH investment.
  • Time of deployment is speeded up tremendously. There is no need for civil works or lengthy procedures. Similar as xDSL installations, areas can be illuminated very quickly.

Both optimizations makes bringing Gbps services so affordable.

AllRoadBand™

Enprotech solution provides a universal solution for reusing existing phoneline or coaxial wiring. Depending on the case, the elements change due to different environment and interface.

AllRoadBand™ Phoneline

Phoneline GAM (Gh.n Aggregation Multiplexer)
Is a multiport device to drive multiple CPEs reusing existing phonelines. Each GAM can support up to 24 CPEs. In order to scale up in number of CPEs, more GAMs can be added.

AllRoadBandTM CPE: To be installed in customer premises. It provides LAN wired connectivity to easily connect directly or additional WiFi Gateway.

AllRoadBandTM Cloud Software: Since crosstalk happens within the phoneline bundle of wires, additional techniques are implemented running from the cloud. It is also possible to run this software locally in the GAMs.

This software handles in real time the needed changes in the system to support the demand of each CPE in the field. This way all customers get the right performance in the right time.

AllRoadBand™ Coaxial

Enprotech solution covers different architectures that can be found in the field.
This architecture can be found in the field where there is a possibility to establish point to point connections with each CPE.

AllRoadBand™ CoAxial

Coaxial DPU (Distribution Point Unit)
Is a 4 ports device to drive multiple CPEs reusing existing coaxials. Each port can support up to 16 CPEs in a point to multipoint manner. In order to scale up in number of CPEs, more ports of the DPU should be used.

CPE: To be installed in customer premises. It provides LAN wired connectivity to easily connect directly or additional WiFi Gateway.

Smart Grid

Smart Meters

Smart Meters need to comply with the EU directive, and must therefore, allow end users to become proactive when it comes to energy savings. Obviously, it’ s only possible if customers have real time information, allowing them to disconnect unwanted loads right away. Current Smart Meters allow utility companies to access meters remotely, connect/disconnect and configure them from their Central Management Software, but users don’t have real time access to the information, and therefore, are not able to be proactive in energy savings. This is due to the slow data transfer rates of today’s Smart Meters, as they all work with narrowband technology.

ENPROTECH has developed a Broadband Power Line Communication solution and integrated it into its Smart Meter, which allows real time access to the meters data by the end user, without overloading the systems’ data capacity of its communication channel.
